Safety
At Maui Zipline Company safety is paramount and our number one priority! Our ziplines and equipment are inspected daily and our course was built to meet and exceed Association of Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) professional building standards. Our guides go through extensive safety training and have First Aid & CPR certifications.
Our equipment is top of the line and includes a full body harness for extra security. Children will have special safety gear designed for their stature and all participants will have easy grip handlebars to increase control while zipping!
In addition, our course does not require participants to “hand brake” themselves. We have a system designed to bring people onto the platforms appropriately using gravity, and we have a back-up mechanical brake that the guide controls so you are not responsible for putting your hands on the cables to slow yourself down. Hand braking can lead to injuries if the participant is not careful, so we have eliminated that risk to enhance your personal experience.
