How long does it take to complete the tour?

Plan to spend approx 2-2.5 hours with us. The Zipline tour is approximately 1.5-2 hour in length, plus additional time for check-in, orientation, and training.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made within 24 hours prior to tour departure will be charged full tour price. "No-shows" will also be charged full tour price. Charges will be applied to the credit card provided.

Maui Zipline Company reserves the right to cancel tours due to inclement weather, foreseeable hazards, insufficient bookings, or events beyond our control. If we know in advance that we will be closed, we will try to contact you at the contact number you provided to us when you booked your tour.

How much hiking and/or walking is there?

Each tour starts with a short and easy walk on a well-maintained path to our observation platform. There is no rigorous hiking involved, although participants must be able to climb 4 flights of stairs.

Do you have side-by-side lines? Can I ride tandem with my child?

Each of our lines are side-by-side so parents/children/couples can zip next to each other at the same time! All guests, including children, will have their own equipment and be on their own zip line, riding parallel to each other.

Are reservations required?

Make a reservation to guarantee a specific time (click here to book online) or call (808) 633-2464. Currently, walk-ins are not accepted.

What if I have never done a Zipline course before?

No prior experience is needed! Our highly trained guides will fit you with state-of-the-art equipment and ease you into the course with a training session where everyone will practice with the equipment and learn the techniques before embarking on the tour. Because of the time, effort, and experience put forth in designing our zip line tour you will not be required to brake yourself or drag yourself over spans of cable. Our expertly designed tour will not require "hand braking" to slow yourself down, so you can spend more time enjoying the tour and leave your safety to us. Our professionally trained staff will take care of you from start to finish.

Do you operate in the rain?

Yes, tours run rain or shine however, the course will be closed if there is lightning in the area or there are high winds. If your tour is cancelled due to weather, you can either rebook for another time, or we will refund your tour cost.

Is it possible to watch without going on tour?

Yes, you are welcome to watch the tour participants from the grounds of Maui Tropical Plantation and from our treehouse overlooking the tropical lagoon. We do not charge for walk-along guests.
